Well… here are three quick tips to get you started.
Ensure your branding is where it should be.
As much as the candidate needs to sell themselves to you, you also have to sell your company to them! The first thing they should be doing before applying is looking at your website to get some more information. Does it showcase your business and is it in keeping with your branding? What does it say about you? What are your values, your USP and your vision for the candidates to align with?
Keep your job adverts short and sweet!
At Swarm, we live by this mantra. For everything! Just keep it to the most important facts, if you have a long history of your business, candidates won’t get to the good stuff about the role. If they decide they want to know more about you, they will look you up or they will call – diligent candidates will be doing their research.
Show the salary. PLEASE!
Many people are going to work to pay for their lives or at least a certain wage to fund a lifestyle. They need to know if they can afford to apply for what you are offering. If you don’t show the salary your chances of receiving applications reduce significantly and you are only hiding what they will inevitably find out when they call you or see you in an interview.
